My topic:
I chose to research Allied Sports teams, a team made up of mentally disabled students, focusing on their involvement in high school, because I've seen first hand, the positive affects of these teams have in a community.

To who?
I wrote my letter to Dr. Lillian M. Lowery, Maryland State Superintendent of Schools and Secretary-Treasurer of the State Board, because I felt she would have the most power in influencing other superintendents across the U.S. and different counties in MD.

Other Choices:
If I were to write to another person, I would choose to write to all superintendents in MD.

How to get Involved:
You should write a letter too. The more letters that are written, the more the topic gets attention.
